About
Hidden Pines Meat Processing LLC is owned and operated by Shawn Woodfolk, his wife Ali, and supported by a host of family and team members, located in the foothills of scenic Madison Virginia. Nestled on the property of White Oak Run Farm, the family's beef cattle and crop farm, Hidden Pines has specialized in the processing of wild game, under Shawn’s ownership, since 2003.
Shawn, an alumnus of Virginia Tech, received his agricultural degree in 1998 and was pursing his passion in active farming when an opportunity to purchase Hidden Pines presented itself. With much encouragement and support from family and friends, Shawn purchased Hidden Pines from its original owner. His initial goal was to supplement income in the offseason of crop farming. What began as a small processing operation out of his father’s garage has since evolved into a large-scale processing facility that averages two thousand plus deer per season, in addition to bear and wild boar.
Over the last 18 years there have been multiple expansions and an ever-evolving list of services that are offered. However, several constants have remained: Shawn’s father Edward, who you’ll see at every pickup, quality, vacuum sealed products, great service, and an ever-growing population of loyal and highly valued customers. Shawn’s goal of delivering quality meat products doesn’t stop with the typical paying hunter. He has been an active provider for Hunters for the Hungry for nearly two decades and takes great joy in knowing that his team and business are responsible for supplying thousands of pounds of quality venison to surrounding area food pantries. It is with great pride and appreciation that Shawn and his family and team continue to operate in Madison Virginia, entering into their 19th season, and look forward to delivering the highest quality services to you and your families.
